The Learning Hub

What’s in the Learning Hub?

The Learning Hub ground floor will contain the ManorCon event, from open gaming to the music quiz, Second Hand Games Sale and Games shop. It was important to have all the activities in a single accessible building.

The Learning Hub features a building cooling system; in hot weather the doors and windows should be kept shut for best performance.

Open Gaming

There are several open gaming areas available, the key ones are

  • Exhibition Area
  • The Owls Nest
  • The Market
  • The Waterside Bar & Restaurant
  • Learning Room 13
  • Learning Room 14

The Learning Rooms will be designated quieter space.

Food and Drink

There are a number of onsite options available for people attending with more flexibility. The main onsite choices are:

  • The Market restaurant and the Ground cafĂ© provide a range of breakfast, lunch, snack and evening meal options.
  • The Waterside Bar & Restaurant provides drinks and food with both indoor and outdoor seating.
  • Morrisons Local

Please note: Only alcohol served by the bar can be drunk in The Learning Hub within the designated ManorCon gaming areas. Alcohol cannot be drunk in areas of the learning hub not designated as ManorCon gaming areas. Within the accommodation there are no restrictions.
