The Learning Hub
What’s in the Learning Hub?
The Learning Hub contains the ManorCon event, from open gaming to the music quiz, Second Hand Games Sale, and Games shop. It is also the location of Market restaurant and Waterside bar for most of your food and drink needs. It was important to have all the activities in a single accessible building. All changes in level have steps and platform lifts.
The Learning Hub features a building cooling system; in hot weather the doors and windows should be kept shut for best performance.
Open Gaming
There are several open gaming areas available.
Exhibition Area – where you’ll find the reception desk and plenty of open gaming space
The Owl’s Nest
Learning Room 13
Learning Room 14 – a space for quiet gaming
The Market Restaurant – also providing a range of breakfast, lunch, snack and evening meal options
The Waterside Bar – also providing drinks and food with both indoor and outdoor seating.
We have a games organiser available for those who want to pre-plan games.
Please note: Only alcohol served by the bar can be drunk in The Learning Hub and only then within the designated ManorCon gaming areas. Alcohol cannot be drunk in areas of the Learning Hub not designated as ManorCon gaming areas. Within the accommodation there are no such restrictions.
