Overview of the Onsite Accommodation

There are two types of accommodation available to ManorCon attendees, which is a stone throw from The Learning Hub and Car Parks.

• Single bedrooms in the Waterside Student Halls of Residence
• Double bedrooms in the Sunley Hotel

All accommodation comes with breakfast (vouchers will be provided) in The Market Restaurant. This will be a range of hot and cold items along with tea and coffee.

As in the past, the timing of ManorCon means temperatures can be high. To keep rooms cool it is recommended that you open your room window on arrival.

Sunley Hotel

The Sunley Hotel is providing double rooms for ManorCon. To get your room key card go to the Sunley Reception desk after you have checked into the ManorCon Registration desk in The Innovation Hub.

In-room facilities include complimentary Wi-Fi, coffee and tea making facilities, Freeview TV, direct dial telephone, iron and ironing board, safe and en-suite bathroom with shower and complimentary toiletries.
All bedrooms are accessible by lift and stairs, with the accommodation being secure and only accessible with a hotel guest’s key card. Reception and lounge are located on the ground floor which has step-free access.

Onsite Student Accommodation

Please note that the Student Halls of Residence are unable to provide towels or toiletries, so please bring your own.

Each room is within a shared flat or townhouse with shared kitchen facilities.

• All student rooms are fully-furnished with:
  • a bed, with full bed linen.
  • Ensuite shower
  • desk and chair, 
  • Wardrobe and storage space
  • bookshelves or case
  • bin
• In Flat items include:
  • kettle,
  • Fridge/freezer, 
  • Microwave,
  • cooker/hob,
  • Iron & Ironing board,
  • Dining table and chairs,
  • Dustpan and brush,
  • A set of basic crockery (cup, glass, plates and cutlery) per person.
