Join us at ManorCon
Advanced Bookings are now closed.
Only on the door bookings will be available.

ManorCon XLI will be held on 18th to 21st July 2025.
You can book your place using the Online Booking System. Due to problems with PayPal, payment this year is made by Bank Transfer. This will delay confirming your booking slightly, as we now have to match up your booking and payment manually.
- Pre-paid registration for ManorCon is £8 for one day or £12 for the weekend.
- Single rooms are available for £56 per night in advance.
- Double rooms have all sold out.
Accommodation bookings include breakfast. See accommodation for more details.
Booking will close on Sunday June 15th, at midnight (end of day) BST.
If you have any issues booking or can’t pay by bank transfer email bookings@manorcon.org.uk.
What happens when you Book?
When you book you go through the booking system which collects basic information. This is an old system, and the plan is to update next year. With the change of venue as volunteers we didn’t manage to change for 2025.
- Entering the booking system.
- You will then be asked to provide details for your booking (please note the gender field is historic and not used).
- You will be shown the terms and conditions to accept.
- Once complete you will be sent an email with the payment details, cancellation policy and information on transferring bookings.
- Finally, you will get an email confirming your booking.
2. Login or Create an account and select your booking options
You will be provided with a screen login or create an account. If you have forgotten your details, you can ask for details to be sent to the registered email account.

3. View and Check the Terms and Conditions
Before checking out you will be asked to agree to the following terms and conditions.
Terms and Conditions
The prices are subject to variation in the event of VAT changes. Cancellations may be made up to June 15th 2025 for a full refund.
Payment must be made after entering a booking by electronic transfer – we are currently unable to handle PayPal or credit card payments. Details of the destination account will be provided. If you are unable to do this (e.g. you are outside the UK), please contact bookings@manorcon.org.uk to arrange a method of payment.
It is the responsibility of delegates to look after their valuables. ManorCon cannot accept responsibility for loss or damage to items.
Delegates must abide by the Health and Safety regulations and Security regulations of the University of Northampton.
Delegates must report all accidents, incidents and damage to the convention organisers as soon as possible.
Delegates shall be responsible for any charges levied on the convention by the University in relation to their booking. This includes, but is not limited to, the following:

- Smoking indoors – £125.
- Fire brigade call-out – £300.
By booking, delegates are assumed to have read and agreed to our Code of Conduct.
2. Email Contents
Thank you for booking your place at ManorCon.
You now need to make an electronic payment to the ManorCon bank account: account name “Manorcon”, [Bank Details will be included]. Please add the name you entered in the booking system as the reference, so that we can match the payment to the booking. If you need further assistance, please email bookings@manorcon.org.uk
Once this payment has been made, you will receive an email confirmation of your booking.
3. Once You’ve Paid
Once you paid a manual email is sent. This is triggered when Gary checks the account and see the payment has arrived. This process happens at least 3 times a week. As this is manual there may be a couple of days delay. If you’ve not had an email after a couple of days email bookings@manorcon.org.uk.
Booking Cancellation Policy
If you need to cancel your booking, in whole or in part, please let us know as soon as possible. Before the convention, you should email bookings@manorcon.org.uk. For last-minute cancellations, phone the ManorCon mobile.
- If you are cancelling at least 28 days before the convention, you will receive a full refund for the nights and/or registration you are cancelling – usually immediately.
- If you are cancelling between 27 and 3 days in advance of the convention, you will forfeit an amount equal to the advanced one-day registration fee. You will usually receive a refund of the balance of your original payment, but this is conditional on the University agreeing to cancel your booking.
- If you are cancelling after 3 days in advance of the convention, you will forfeit your entire registration fee. In addition, in most cases we will be unable to prevent the University charging us for your room, and therefore we will be unable to refund you the room fees either.
All refunds are handled at the discretion of the Committee; we will endeavor to avoid charges by reselling rooms where possible.
